If you're interested in traveling with Indian Rose Tours, the first thing you do is send Micha an e-mail detailing which of the suggested tours on our website you would like to book and which hotels have your preference. Or you can send Micha an e-mail detailing between which dates you will be in India and which places you would like to visit. Micha will then help you create your own itinerary. When the tour has been finalized you will receive the final program and quote by e-mail. Micha will also assist you with the booking process.

Out of the total price 25% will have to be deposited on the account of our trusted local agency in India. This can simply be done by internet banking or by regular bank transfer. The rest of the amount due has to be deposited to the same account one month prior to the start of the tour or can be paid in cash on the first day of the tour after arrival in India.

Three weeks before departure you will receive the following by e-mail:

Detailed day-to-day program including handy tips on where to stop for photos and lunch, suggestions on what time to start your day, what to look out for on the way and a lot more useful information.

India Info where you'll find helpful advice on how to stay healthy and safe, how (much) to tip and bargain, where to shop and much more.

Contact List with important and useful phone numbers and addresses of accommodation, guides, representatives and others.

City Info of all the places you will visit during your stay in India. Here you'll find information about restaurants and which are their best dishes, where meat and ice are (not) safe to eat, opening-timings and entry prices of sights, details about your hotel and more….

• Deadlines for Booking:

You can book up until a month before departure.

Later bookings can be difficult to accommodate because train and hotel bookings must be arranged in advance. If it is past the deadline but you would still like to book, and there is room available on the tour of your choice, you can always give it a try!

Just send an e-mail and we'll do our best to help accommodate you.

• Cancellations & Options:

You can cancel your booking up until one month before departure. Unfortunately, 25% of the total price is non-refundable. Should you want to cancel within one month prior to departure you will have to forfeit the total price of the tour.

• Important / Assistance:

Indian Rose Tours is not aligned with SGR/ANVR (the Dutch insurance organization against bankruptcy and other risks for the travel and tourism sector). This would not provide any benefits for you or us, as payments are done directly to our partner in India. The agency we work with in India is a registered company with many years of experience working with large and small Western companies (like Indian Rose Tours). It has all the necessary insurance policies in place (including liability insurance) and is registered with all organizations relevant to the industry.

In the unlikely case a negative travel advisory is issued by your government, you will receive a 100% refund on all land tour arrangements. This will not include your flights to and from India, which must be negotiated with your chosen airline. It is recommended you pay for cancellation insurance when booking your flight.

Indian Rose Tours reserves the right to make adjustments and amendments to the itineraries in the case of natural disasters or other unforeseeable changes in travel situations in South India. These adjustments will be posted on this website as soon as possible and will also be mentioned on facebook and in the Indian Rose Tours newsletter we recommend you subscribe to when booking.

Make sure you get comprehensive travel insurance (insurance against cancellation of your flight is again recommended), your vaccinations and a visa before you leave your home country! We can also book your flight tickets. We do not charge any commission or add a service charge to this! You can book your flight ticket by yourself, but please do not forget to e-mail your flight itinerary when you use this option.
